Beau has really grasped the idea of "Birthday Week". He was pretty excited to get to pick out meals all week and so we ate all his favorite foods - lots of pizza, noodle soup, and hot dogs with Spätzle. We had two parties for him, a friend party last Saturday where we all finally got to meet the famous Maylyn from school (she gave him the yellow car) and then a family party with his cousins and bowling on Monday at BYU. It's fun to see him become a little man, but I don't think anything makes you feel as old as watching your kids have birthdays.
