Viv Turns 3

Vivian turned three this week and it's pretty obvious what kind of stuff she's into at the moment. It's all Elsa, Paw Patrol, and Rapunzel.

Brighton Rugby

 

Beau's cousin is a big rugby player and he convinced him that the best football off-season would be playing rugby with him. YouTube taught us the basics and off he went. Unfortunately, his full season was a handful of practices and this one game as COVID put an end to it.

The one game was pretty fun though. Beau had a couple of big runs, and if he would have known that you have to put the ball down in the end zone to score, he would have had a couple of those.  Minor details I guess. He enjoyed it a lot and it was fun for him to be able to play for a few weeks with his cousin.

New Game Room

 

Saturdays are going to be pretty awesome around our house now. How can you choose just one football game to watch?

We've been working over the winter to get a new game room finished up, and I got the TV's mounted/installed just in time for the tail end of the season. We've now just gotten the carpet installed so we were able to finish the rest of the room.

We re-purposed some IKEA cabinets as the console and game holders and Marta made the cushions on top to serve as a foot rest. It's a pretty amazing set up that is already getting some serious use.
