New Game Room

 

Saturdays are going to be pretty awesome around our house now. How can you choose just one football game to watch?

We've been working over the winter to get a new game room finished up, and I got the TV's mounted/installed just in time for the tail end of the season. We've now just gotten the carpet installed so we were able to finish the rest of the room.

We re-purposed some IKEA cabinets as the console and game holders and Marta made the cushions on top to serve as a foot rest. It's a pretty amazing set up that is already getting some serious use.

Cougar Mountain

It was a perfect fall day to hike the Y - even though I had a passenger for most of the trip up.

BYU has made a lot of improvements to this trail since the last time I hiked it probably 20+ years ago. They've widened and graveled it, added benches to rest and take in the views. They've also added lights around the Y so they can light it for special occasions.
