Our First (Two) Broken Bones

And the winner is...Cash. Our little man took a fall on the park wobbly bridge followed by a fall on our way into Beau's Tee Ball game last night. Marta took him to the doctor after the game and the x-ray confirmed a small break in both of his arm bones just above the wrist. I guess on the bright side he really seems to love his "I got an x-ray" sticker. So I guess as long as they also give him a sticker, he'll be ok with a cast next week.

Trains Anyone?

It's funny how whatever toys their big brother plays with are the things the two younger guys want to do. Blake and Emmett are now only a month away from being 2, and now ready for some real toys. Intro to Sharing 101. Beau was very into all things Thomas, so we had quite a few trains and tracks laying around that didn't get played with too much anymore. So I built them their own Thomas Table so all the boys can play together. "Can" is still the key word there...

Some Talking

Apparently with an older brother and a buddy, Blake and Emmett have not yet had a huge desire to speak their minds. They can pretty much point and grunt their way through the day and someone understands what they are getting at. For our own sanity, we're now making a bigger effort to get these boys talking. I'm sure it's not helping matters, as you can see from this clip, they still are quite attached to their binkys. Without a doubt my favorite word of theirs so far is "Beau".
