It wasn't that long ago that we attacked the backyard. The addition turned our yard into a dirt wasteland. Everything came together nicely, but with the western setting sun we came to the conclusion this summer that we needed to make some changes to create some shade and make it more usable for us. So this week, all those stones that we spent two weeks putting together like a puzzle came up in a day and the sprinkler trenching and digging out posts began. The new plan calls for 5 new trees, a pergola, and outdoor roman shades. I guess these two years since we did this have been rough on me since on day 3 I tweaked my back and have spent the last few days stiff and gimpy. Anyway, here's the rough plan.
